Children’s Ministry Team
Children matter at CoaH. They are God’s gift to us and our responsibility. The Children’s Ministry Team is focused on providing kids with an experience of God. They too focus on three relationships kids have with God, other believers and the world. Through a variety of programs, activities and events these faithful servants reach out to and meet kids where they are with the Gospel of Jesus. Circle of Caring Team
This team focuses on those who need help. They provide support by providing meals, notes, encouragement, rides, etc. to those that need it. This small group of ladies meets monthly for Bible study and Prayer and to discuss how to meet the needs of the church and our community. Pat Hershberg is the team leader, PattyHersh@aol.com.
Community Service Team
As the name indicates, this team focuses on service to our community. The mission of this team is to show the love of Christ to our community through generous and loving acts of service. This team helps coordinate CoaH’s participation in Sharefest, ministers to the needs of schools and families, and coordinates efforts to care for the marginalized and needy. Fellowship Team
This team makes sure we’re having fun with one another at CoaH. They organized events that keep us playing together. From picnics to beach days this team does it all. Contact Andrea Hendrickson, team leader, at andreachawk@yahoo.com.
Financial Realities Team
The reality is it takes finances to run this ministry. Though we do not emphasize finances at CoaH we are realistic about the need to receive and manage our finances well. Under the direction of the Board Vice President and Treasurer this team seeks to keep CoaH financially healthy. Ministry Development Team
The Ministry Development Team consists of those interested and passionate about developing, creating and sustaining ministries that fit with our vision and mission. This team seeks to create, staff, organize, fund and execute ministries that are inspired by God in a way that makes COAH’s vision real for the people of the South Bay. (Ministry Idea Form). Prayer Team
The prayer team meets to pray for the needs of our church and community. This team is purposed to continually, without ceasing pray for CoaH, its leaders, partners, and our community. Please contact prayer@coahsb.org.
Tech Team
The Tech Team is responsible for CoaH’s sound and computer equipment used for worship Sunday mornings. They consist of those who set up and maintain the sound equipment. They work in partnership with the Worship Team to provide a wonderful experience of worship on Sunday mornings together. Danny Barbara leads this team and can be contacted at dbarbara77@hotmail.com.
Welcome/Usher Team
This team seeks to welcome those to worship on Sunday morning. They assist in setting for worship, providing communion, and handing out handouts as worshipers arrive. They are the hands, feet, and face of CoaH. This team is lead by Larry Edwards, lare98@aol.com.
Worship Team
The Worship Team is responsible for the planning and leading of worship on Sunday mornings. From the PowerPoint show to music to announcements, to communion, to prayer, to the Word, this team works tirelessly to provide an experience of God in worship.
