Christmas Events @ City On A Hill

We are excited about upcoming events during the Christmas season. Please note the dates and some time-changes as well. Our prayer is that these events will keep us pointed toward Jesus Christ – His birth and His return!

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27th - We will be gathering right after the service for Pizza and making advent wreaths. This is an item that you can use with at home during the season, lighting a candle each week to remember Jesus birth and to be eagerly waiting for His return.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4th - We will form two groups to go caroling at 330pm before service. Then return at 5pm for worship with cocoa and hot cider. Following the service, we will go and tour the Christmas lights around the area.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th - MEETING EARLY at 430pm for worship an then continue together to experience, “Journey to Bethlehem” at Journey of Faith. More details to come for parking and such.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18th - “The Nativity” movie event. We will watch this powerful movie together with soup supper and snacks.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 24th - 5pm at our new location, South Bay Adventist, 401 S. Prospect in Redondo Beach. Carols, candlelight, communion and the reading of the Christmas gospel. On Christmas day we encourage you to enjoy this time with your family and friends. Worship together in your homes or at another place of your choosing. And may the Christ who comes to be with us be found in us this Christmas!
